The Zerona laser treatment technique is a medical procedure that utilizes the FDA approved Zerona to safely emulsify subcutaneous adipose tissue resulting in the reduction of unwanted inches in just two weeks. Erchonia can validate their claims with statistically significant data collected from placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, multi-site studies.

The Zerona is composed of 5 diode laser heads, all emitting a laser light at 635nm with approximately 15mW of energy. The Zerona is classified as a Class 111B laser with no recorded or approximately 15mW of energy. The Zerona protocol was developed to provide patients with a non-invasive and safe alternative to the common cosmetic therapeutic regimens. The success of Zerona is highly dependent of an individual's ability to naturally absorbed emulsified cellular debris; therefore, not all patients will obtain the same outcome at the end of the two week therapy.
